COVID-19 Clinical Assessment App
The app has been developed on the TURAS platform in partnership between NHSGGC, NHS NES Digital, NHS NSS, the Digital Health and Care Institute, and DaySix. It supports healthcare staff in recording the information pertinent to the clinical assessment of patients presenting with COVID-19 symptoms. The intention is to create a national, standardised approach to assessing patients, and a centralised, clinical assessment data store. The app, which is accessed by request via the IT Helpdesk, has been adapted for use in Community Assessment Centres and Emergency Departments and Specialist Assessment Test Centres. A version of the app for use in assessments conducted in inpatient wards (daily ward rounds) is also in development.
