Hand washing is a essential skill for children of all ages.

National Infection Prevention and Control Manual have a number of ideas and materials for you and your child to use to help with hand washing:

Sensory Difficulties

Some people find hand washing difficult because of sensory differences.  They might not like the smell or feel of the soap, noisy hand driers or even just going from having dry hands to having wet hands.  Below is a link to some tips that might help.
