Weigh in at work

Interested in starting up your own group?

The Weigh in at Work pack (pdf) is designed to be used independently in your workplace. It will provide your group leader with guidance and topic information for starting up or continuing an informal in-house weight management group, facebook group, email group or even a drop in with scales and shared information. The pack includes topic information sheets, sources of additional resources and related websites, relevant national campaigns and local contact details.

For more information contact your local HWL representative or contact healthyworkinglives@ggc.scot.nhs.uk

Would you like more individual help?

A drop in service (one to one) is available on a range of sites. This service is run by the Support and Information Service staff, Public Health Information Management staff or the Family Support & Information team depending on location. This enables staff to attend on a one to one basis, or bring a colleague with them if they prefer.

A drop-in style approach is used, to make it easier for shift workers and other staff to come along during lunch and breaks.
