These documents are for managers and staff to assist with physical distancing within the workplace.
It is also accepted that in many of the services that we provide and tasks that are undertaken, it is not always possible to maintain a distance from others. However, these document helps to set out a number of key principles to be applied.
Also included is a Risk Assessment Template that departments and services should undertake to review what controls are in place or may be required to allow staff, patients and others meet requirements and ensure protection and minimise exposure to infection.
Local services are also able to seek support from local health and safety representatives and the Health and Safety team to assist with implementation.
